Endicia’s SCAN (Shipment Confirmation Acceptance Notice) Form is an extremely useful tool for iabol 2.0 users who ship parcels with USPS.
After closing out your parcels shipped for the day, the SCAN Form generates a customized notice which consolidates all USPS shipments for the day into one document with a barcode.
The barcode contains information about how many packages you are shipping for the day, as well as your shipper information. When a USPS driver picks up your packages (or you drop them off at the Post Office), the Postal Service scans the SCAN Form barcode and checks the number of packages against the form.
Once complete, your packages are accepted into the USPS Package Tracking System (PTS) and each tracking number now shows the date and time of the acceptance process!
Stealth Postage (or Stealth Indicia) hides the postage amount from the package label.
The postage amount is replaced by a key-line that includes the weight, mail class, and rate zone. The Postal Service uses this key-line with other tools to validate the postage on packages. Stealth Indicia can be used on Express Mail, Global Express Mail and all mail with electronic Delivery or Signature Confirmation, including: Priority Mail, First Class Parcels, and Package Services. It is not available on First Class letters or non-tracked International Mail.
